I follow the WPATH Standards of Care which does NOT require anyone to PROVE their gender identity.  I assess for your symptom criteria and informed consent regarding the intended gender-affirming services for adolescents and adults.

I provide professional recommendation letters for adolescents and adults seeking gender affirming care, all through a completely HIPAA-compliant virtual format. Access to treatments such as gender affirming hormones or surgeries often requires a referral letter from a mental health professional. Depending on the specific requirements of your medical provider or insurance company, this letter must be authored by a licensed mental health professional.

These recommendation letters are known by several terms, including "letter of support," "WPATH letter," or "gender affirming care letter." Although the names vary, the intent behind them remains constant—to facilitate your access to necessary gender affirming treatments. I am committed to providing you with the essential documentation to support your journey towards receiving gender affirming care, ensuring convenience, security, and compliance with all professional standards, entirely online.

I understand the complex and often troubling history that such requirement letters have within the gender diverse community, and I firmly oppose any unnecessary pathologization. Nevertheless, I recognize that these letters are frequently a necessary step to access care.

My goal is to simplify and ease this process for you, allowing you to obtain the care you need with minimal stress. I also believe that discussing major life changes with a therapist can be beneficial.

How It Works:

  1. Request an appointment 
     

  2. I will email you a link to your HIPAA-compliant portal to complete intake paperwork online
     

  3. Complete evaluation with Aimee over telehealth
     

  4. Receive a password protected PDF letter of support by email within 3 business days

What I Assess:
 

  • Diagnostic criteria for Gender Dysphoria
     

  • Your mental and emotional health (having other diagnoses does not disqualify you)

  • Your support system
     

  • Your expectations regarding the desired gender-affirming intervention(s)
     

  • Plans for recovery/maintenance

Fees & Rates

Letter of Support (self-pay):

​

  • Letter for Gender Affirming Hormones (GAHT): $200

  • Letter for Gender Affirming Surgery: $250 

  • Discounted rates available for future letters or letter updates. For example: if you receive a letter for GAHT and then need a surgical letter in the future.

I encourage you to reach out no matter your financial situation; lower rates are sometimes available.
