504 and IEP Advocacy
Whether you've heard the term IEP Advocate, Special Needs Advocate or Educational Advocate, these terms are all synonymous with a professional that is knowledgable with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504.
I am here to help your child achieve their full academic and behavioral potential within the public education system in Florida!
Are you the parent of a child with special needs?
Living with a struggling child can be traumatic for an entire family.
I specialize in helping families identify the most appropriate educational options for their children. When you’re feeling hopeless, discouraged, or even scared, and you know your child is potentially endangering their future, it’s time to take action!
I walk alongside you, bringing unique expertise and intimate knowledge of public educational options within Florida, to find solutions to your child's struggles.
Why do you need a Special Needs Advocate?
Your child has been found eligible for special education services, but the services rendered have proven to be ineffective. Regression has occurred or progress has been stagnant.
Your child hasn’t been found eligible for special education services, but has been receiving low performing academic scores and/or has been identified as a “behavior problem." You believe your child might need additional help to bridge gaps.
You are considering mediation or filing a due process complaint with the district because you believe there have been significant violations to your child’s rights under IDEA.
Your child has been promised special education services and related services, accommodations and/or modifications that are NOT being rendered.
You know that your child is struggling and needs help but their school is not cooperating!
Do they begrudgingly schedule meetings, dismiss your concerns, and give you excuses?
Are you assuming that they are already doing everything they can because they should know what’s best for your child?
Stop losing sleep at night and gain control of your child's educational experience!
Your child deserves better!
Their school is legally obligated to do better!
I know the law and the game the school is playing.
I know how to hold them accountable and make them cooperate.
I won’t stop fighting until we get the best possible support for your child!
