I am passionate about supporting students and families by providing logical solutions, a caring heart, and realistic educational information to cultivate the skills necessary for a productive future.  I have certifications in Elementary Education (k-6) and School Counseling (pk-12) from Florida's Department of Education and over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages in educational and therapeutic settings.  I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2010 with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology then went on to receive my Masters of Education and Education Specialist Degrees in Counselor Education from the University of Florida in 2012.  After graduation, I moved back home to Palm Beach County, Florida, where I got a job as a community mental health therapist.  After some time, I felt the need to make a slight career shift, which led me to teach 3rd grade for a few years then to the job as the heart of the school: School Counselor! 

 

In 2021, I decided to leave public education and merge all of my professional interests into one business, became a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with Florida's Department of Health, and created Your Colorful Counselor.
